Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 dE 2011-12-17 12:22:38 UTC
Although I don't have the BT I sort of confirm this with KDE 4.7
Comment 2 Anne-Marie Mahfouf 2011-12-17 13:40:25 UTC
dE:what KDE version? does it crash at all startup? also with a new user? distribution?
Comment 3 OlehB 2011-12-17 16:55:44 UTC
It has been fixed already, though I don't know exact version.
Comment 4 OlehB 2011-12-17 16:58:39 UTC
And it was related to Nvidia driver so now it could be closed.
Comment 5 Christoph Feck 2011-12-17 20:56:39 UTC
The backtrace does not indicate any relation to video drivers.

We need the backtrace to check if it is the same issue. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/User:DarioAndres/How_to_provide_more_information_about_crash_reports
Comment 6 dE 2011-12-18 12:30:49 UTC
It's my upgarde to KDE 4.7 which caused the issue.

No -- starting with a new profile doesn't cause the issue. So I'll see which config might be causing the problem. Any suggestions on how to do this easily?

This has to be reopened.
Comment 9 Christoph Feck 2011-12-21 11:16:23 UTC
First, you still haven't added the backtrace.

Next, comment #7 suggest the problem is with a combination of the xine Phonon backend. That backend is unmaintained, deinstall it.

This config was residue when upgrading to kde 4.7 (cause 4.6 supported xine), thus this's a valid bug report.

What packages do I have to rebuild (with ggdb, nostrip) in order to provide a BT? Can you please point out the libraries and applications?
