Can anybody say something about this problem?
Just a guess, but I could imagine this happens due to the guidance-power-manager X connection leak. See: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=187392 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=264977 If this command shows a high number e.g. ~200 it's probably the cause. netstat -xp|grep python|wc -l
netstat -xp|grep python|wc -l shows only 5, some more ideas?
Can it be because I use 4.6 environment with 4.4 kdm?
It's probably a good idea to keep KDE packages in sync version-wise to not unnecessary raise the error potential. So try to upgrade kdm to 4.6 and if it helps.
I use such configuration (i. e. kdm from the system and kde for the concrete user compilled from last stable sources) and it always works correctly. What has changed since 4.5 to 4.6 that 4.5 works with 4.4 kdm and 4.6 does not?
With kdm 4.6 anything works fine. So 4.6 is incompatible wiht 4.4 components.
