Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2011-01-29 23:47:22 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I just got a notification from Kopete saying (litterally) The ICQ server thinks you are using an outdated client. Please report this bug at http://bugs.kde.org
This is what I am doing here :)
They changed the protocol again? -.-

Reproducible: Always

Kopete is trying to fetch a file http://kopete.kde.org/oscarversions.xml (which contains the current version?) but it cannot do this due to “Socket operation timed out” and in IRC they say the servers are down to maintenance.
So, when the servers are back online it hopefully will work again :)
Comment 2 Kai Uwe Broulik 2011-04-11 00:56:35 UTC
Temporary problem, was due to server maintenance, so kopete couldn‘t get the proper versions file
