Version: 1.9.9 (using KDE 1.2) OS: Linux Very rarely, Kmail on Debian 5.0.6, Linux 2.6.26-2-686, Gnome Desktop, fails to open the wallet which is normally slow and expected. Repeated attempts to activate sometimes kick it off ok but on a few times it totally refuses. Minor irritation as a reboot usually but not always clears the problem. Kmail is fantastic, love it to bits. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Only after a startup/reboot and not much more than once a month - once running and minimised only problems are with my slow ISP. Actual Results: Not applicable, far too intermittent to reproduce, but when it happens have to rekick off the applications in Gnome as default on reboot closes the apps. Checking the processes shows nothing out of the ordinary that I recognise. Expected Results: Open the wallet and ask for my password. Can be slow but I am patient. Nothing special - using default Debian Gnome, bog standard widget, IMAP from my ISP PlusNet

Hi Christophe Gilboudeaux, Thank you for querying me so promptly and sorry I didn't provide all the info in the bug report accurately. The Help->About shows "Kmail 1.9.9 *Using KDE 3.5.10)" which is what was set up from the standard Debian distribution. Anything further please ask. Your KMail and KDE versions are not maintained anymore, the issue you encounter won't be fixed for KMail 1.9. Please update it to 1.13.5 or report the issue on the Debian bug tracker.
