Description Samuel Gilbert 2011-01-26 17:35:48 UTC
Version: 1.7.0 (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

When using the Advanced slideshow from digiKam, KDE Global Shortcuts, such as multimedia keys to play/pause, do not work. One must exit the slideshow for the global shortcuts to work one again. The digiKam internal slideshow does not cause this problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play some music in the player of your choice
2. Open an album in digiKam and launch an Advanced Slideshow
3. Try to pause the music playing by using the Play/Pause key on a multimedia keyboard

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Music playback should have paused
