You seem to be trying to extract a RAR archive using unrar-free. This crash has been fixed in later versions, so please consider updating your KDE SC version.

Normally, I would like to update my KDE SC version. However,
I use the repositories and that update has not shown up for me
to download.
I don't know if it is available to everyone, only that it is
not available to me.

Sincerely,
Tom

The Kubuntu team usually provides up-to-date KDE packages -- your problem might be related to the fact that you're not using the latest Ubuntu release.

As I don't use (K)Ubuntu, I can't help much with this.
