Description H.H. 2011-01-26 09:37:55 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

reproduce:

- use folderview as desktop
- open dolphin, maximize vertically
- have compositing disabled
- have tooltips in dolphin enabled when hovering over files

now hover different files in dolphin detail view until the panel is overpainted. only way to make tha parts of panel visible again is to manually force repainting by for example click on clock.

I have this with different gfx cards (intel, ati prop. driver)

Reproducible: Sometimes

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop
Compiler: gcc

This is clearly a Xorg bug, I was able to write a xlib-only testcas (as I was asked for), but then nothing happend.
