Created attachment 56356 [details] Screenshot showing the non-broken label before loading the preview Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.95) OS: Linux When browsing to a directory, where a subdirectory contains images, the textlabel of this image-containing subdirectory is messed up in some cases after loading the image preview. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open kfiledialog 2. Enable image preview 3. Change view mode to 'Short view' 4. Browse to a directory, where a subdirectory contains images 5. Watch the labels of directories as the previews are loaded Actual Results: 1st attachment: First, when there's no preview shown yet, the label looks fine 2nd attachment: Then, after the preview is loaded, the text label of the directory is wrapped into 3 lines and on the right side of it, some leftover text from the previous label is shown 3rd attachment: When moving the cursor/changing the window focus, the preview is refreshed and the leftover text is gone, but the label still remains wrapped into 3 lines. Expected Results: I'd expect the label to not change at all, also when a preview is loaded. Furthermore there should be no rendering glitch when loading the preview. Please take a look at the 'Bilder' directory in the attached screenshots. It seems this does only happen in 'Short view' and independent from the used zoomlevel. I'm using Qt 4.7.1.

Created attachment 56358 [details] Screenshot showing the broken label after the rendering was refreshed and the rendering glitch is gone, yet 3-line-wrapped label.
Works for me in KDE Frameworks 5.45.
