Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5) OS: Linux in June there were report of email being composed not being displayed when kmail opened after closing or crashing, but I was able to find the emails in progress in .kde/share/apps/kmail/autosave Now I can't find them anywhere and when I loose a big email that I just spent a lot of time composing, it really hurts! Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Just start writing an email and then close kontact. If you don't save it as a draft, it will be gone Actual Results: nothing saved and I can't find it in autosave either or in tmp or in /var/tmp Expected Results: email will be there waiting for you to finish it OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-5-686-bigmem Compiler: cc
I found the problem. I created a new user and compared the autosave directory and found that somehow the cur directory had been deleted It was undoubtedly my fault. I put in a new cur directory and all is well. Sorry for all of the trouble I caused!
