Sometimes, most of the times, when I put my laptop to sleep and then wake it up I see the message that the KDE Daemon has crashed. That's all I can say, I usually acknowledge the message and keep working.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

well, the rc3 is kinda old now, at least you should be using 1.0 + libbluedevil 1.8
