Description Arne Babenhauserheide 2011-01-19 09:16:41 UTC
Version:           2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS:                Linux

When opening kmail shortly after closing it, I get the error “failed to get lock” and kmail asks me to close it (works, though).

The next day it works again, so I assume there might be a clock problem. I live in Germany, GMT+1, currently NOT daylight saving time.

I did not yet check it thoroughly, only noticed that when I wail long enough after closing kmail2, I can start it again.

Reproducible: Sometimes

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-gentoo-r6
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc

Hello

I cannot reproduce this bug on opensuse 11.4. My kde environment is

Qt: 4.7.1
KDE Development Platform: 4.6.41 (4.7 >= 20110106)
KMail: 2.0.89

Please could you try to reproduce the bug with a newer version of kmail and check if it is still valid?

Can not reproduce it either
