Description Vincent Gravdahl 2011-01-18 17:07:52 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTI works fine with normal Compact flash cards but always reports no pictures when Seagate CompactFlash Photo Hard drive is installed in the camera.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Connect camera with Seagate CompactFlash Photo Hard drive installed

Actual Results:
Import reports no pictures on camera.

Expected Results:
Import photos

Suspect there is a timing issue due to time to ready on the Seagate CompactFlash Photo Hard Drive

Which version of digiKam you use exactly ?

Also, with Canon camera, Gphoto2 drivers are used. Go to Help/Components Info for details.

Can you try with digiKam 2.0.0 and give a fresh feedback ?

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
