Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.5.95) OS: Linux If I choose to shutdown my laptop I have to wait until it's completely powered down. If I close the lid too fast, it will be suspended. That's inconvenient as you have to stand there waiting, while you could be packing it up just checking if the power light goes off. Once the laptop wakes from suspend the shutdown process continues until it's definitely powered off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Choose to shutdown the laptop from kde desktop. Close laptop's lid right after. Actual Results: The laptop is suspended Expected Results: The laptop should ignore lid closing signal and continue the shutdown process.
i couldn't have described it better. please fix this! i'm seeing this with KDE 4.6.3.
