My guess would be the problem is somewhere in the size of the edit message field. It happens everytime eventually when me and some friend keep hitting reply and the email keeps growing and growing. Eventually it gets too big and crashes. A workaround for me for now is when it crashes to select a part of the message and hit `a` to reply.
