Description Job Noorman 2011-01-15 18:04:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

When I set a global shortcut of any KDE application to something of the form <Meta+Number> (e.g. <Meta+5>), it is accepted in the shortcut dialog but ignored when used.
Note that setting a normal shortcut to something of this form does work.

Reproducible: Always

I confirm this bug. I use the German Neo2-Keyboard-Layout and want to switch virtual screens with <Meta+Ö> and <Meta+Ü>, where Meta is the Windows key.
Accepted in dialog, ignored when used.

Work fines for me. For example, Meta+1-5 are the default global shortcuts for ratting current track.

Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in recent versions ( KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher). Thanks.
