Version: 1.7.0 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux To claim my copyright, I use watermarks (wm) and temnplates (tm)- great tools. When sendings pics out, I need to be sure that those pice got their wm/tm. At this time, I have to check manuually every pics, which is very time consuming. Even in extended search, I cannot search for the use of wm/tm- it is important and it is neither in search nor inextended search. It is like flying in a jet without fuel display... digiKam has already options in Advanced search to find item with Creator/Author/Headline from IPTC/XMP metadata. If you tags images with this king of information, digiKam will help your to search about. There is no plan to search images with a visual watermark overlay. Best Gilles Caulier
