Description Ralf Weyer 2011-01-13 17:02:25 UTC
Version: 0.0.1 (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

As mentioned above Konqueror renders some Websites very bad. Sometimes there are some things (links as graphics) missing completely, sometimes the thumbnails of pictures are just rendered very poor.

I've attached screenshots of two example websites, one of the websites I've made a screenshot of the bottom and a screenshot from the bottom of the site. The other website I just made one screenshot.

I've made the screenshots from Konqueror with KHTML enabled and with Webkit enabled, the results are the same. To compare the rendering I have also made the screenshots with Firefox (completely different rendering engine) and with chromium (WebKit).

The best results I got from Chromium. Firefox was ok but still some errors on one site, but the worst was Konqueror - no matter if I choose KHTML or WebKit as rendering engine.

The websites I visited:

http://www.desktopnexus.com/
http://www.bora-computer.com/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just visit the above mentioned websites with different browsers and maybe different rendering engines.

Actual Results:
Some poor rendered websites

Expected Results:
The websites could be rendered a little bit better

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-24-generic
Compiler: cc
