Description Aitor 2011-01-12 22:18:19 UTC
Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

Messages from one of the IMAP folders are not listed anymore. Akonadi shows the message count (295 messages) and size (4.7MB) correctly. It even notify new messages arriving to this folder, but the messages in it are not listed.
It's the folder where I store arch-general mailing list from Arch Linux. The complete path is: INBOX->Comunidad->Arch Linux->arch-general
All other folders work as expected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Akonadi Console and select that specific folder.

Actual Results:
No messages are listed

Expected Results:
Messages in that folder should be listed

Akonadi Console debugger shows the following messages:

5103 OK UID FETCH completed

Bottom Box:
AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_5): Fetch failed, server replied: A004062 BAD expected DIGIT instead of .

Sounds like the same issue I had, Could you look in the pimitems table and see if you have messages for this folder that have remote id (rid or ruid or /don't remember the name but it should be clear from the columns) that is NULL? If so that is the same issue I had. To fix you can manually enter the remote id in that column.
Comment 3 Aitor 2011-01-16 16:41:39 UTC
I remove two elements with remoteId=NULL and the folder is listed correctly now. Thank you for this workaround!!
Anyway it's something that should be fixed-

I haven't suffered this issue anymore, but it doesn't mean it's fixed. It might not.
Comment 5 Kevin Ottens 2013-11-16 07:29:50 UTC
The IMAP resource has a new maintainer, reassigning to him.

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
