Description Aaron Digulla 2011-01-12 12:23:57 UTC
Version: 4.2.0 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

I'd like to edit the action "Lock Session" for the KDE component "Run Command Interface" but I couldn't find any information about it in the online help or with Google.

Reproducible: Always

Please clarify what exactly you want here, I think "lock session" is pretty self explanatory...
Comment 2 Aaron Digulla 2011-05-27 09:58:47 UTC
The name of the component ("Run Command Interface") suggests that the actions are shell scripts or something, that is external commands which KDE runs when I press the key.

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no documentation about how "Run Command Interface" works and how I can edit/change the scripts/executables that hide behind the various actions listed.

I need to add an extra command to the action "Lock Session" to stop the music player. How do I do that?

I agree that the name is potentially misleading, I believe it is referred to krunner here.

You can create your own shortcuts under "custom shortcuts".

Please verify your belief and update the documentation accordingly :-)

How do I emulate "Lock Session" in my custom shortcut?

This isn't applicable anymore in Plasma 5.
