Version: 1.7.0 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux I use DK to manage my pics - oveerviews, tags, etc.. When selecting some pics in Album GUI(?), I can copy a selcted pic within DK. When opening a directory, I can _not_ paste the pic I choose before in DK. This is true after several attempt, and it is true whilst pastuing into other graphic-ttols. So I do have to assume, that "copy" in DK does _not_ work at all!! Somehow, integration of DK (at least, but maybe not only) on my system is hazardous. Reproducible: Always OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-24-generic-pae Compiler: cc
Are you using KDE? It works here with digikam 2.0 and KDE 4.6.
Sven: thank for quick respons. I use both - KDE 4.51 _and_ Gnome 2.30 under UBUNTU 10.10. I tried both- pastibn within Konquerer (KDE) and under NAUTILUS. That's why I was sure, that this capability does not work properly / not at all. Axel Am 09.01.2011 12:18, schrieb S. Burmeister: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=262646 > > > S. Work fine too under KDE 4.4.x and digiKam 1.8.0 or 2.0.0. I use it everyday. I use Mandriva, not ubuntu. Gilles Caulier
Hi, I have a similar problem on my PC (Ubuntu 8.10, DigiKam 0.9.4) Copying and pasting pics within digikam between folders works fine, but when I try to paste a selection of pictures in a folder outside of digikam it doesn't work. The paste item in the contextual menu is disabled, as if digikam had put nothing in the clipboard. Given that I use digikam for managing my scanned papers (taxes, payslips, bank statements etc) this is a huge handicap when I need to select a set of elements and paste them somewhere where I can zip them and send them per mail for ex. Thanks for your great work and this magnificient piece of software! Cheers Thomas
Axel, It still valid using digiKam 2.4 ? Gilles Caulier
Axel, It still valid using digiKam 3.5.0 ? Gilles Caulier
(In reply to comment #6) > Axel, > > It still valid using digiKam 3.5.0 ? > > Gilles Caulier Hi Gilles, as i use only the DK versions contined in (K)Ubuntu, i am bound to given versions. At 13.10, I have digiKam version 3.4, not version 3.5, yet. Is it easliy (and reasonble) to use newer digKam versions? Axel
Problem still here with 3.4.0 ? Gilles Caulier
New digiKam 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ?
digiKam 4.12.0 is out : https://www.digikam.org/node/741 We need a fresh feedback using this release please... Thanks in advance.
With digiKam 5.0.0 this problem is not reproducible. I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary. Gilles Caulier
