Description Eike Hein 2011-01-09 03:22:49 UTC
Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: MS Windows

I'd like the Fonts KCM to be available in the Windows port of System Settings, making it easier to sync the fonts of KDE applications to Windows settings vs. hand-editing the kdeglobals config file.

Arguably this would be a stop-gap until the syncing could be done automatically some day, but even then there might be some value in being able to manually deviate from the Windows settings for KDE apps.

Things like the anti-aliasing config would probably have to be removed from the UI for the Windows port, though someone in #kde-windows suggested that it could map to enabling/disabling ClearType (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms724947).

Reproducible: Always

Ok, please rerun the installer (from outside your installation directory!) and update your kdebase-workspace package. The fonts kcm should be included now, but might still have some bugs.

Thanks, works!
