[Comment from a bug triager] This is likely to be a bug in the Strigi (file analyzer library) - What are your "strigi" related packages version ? - What is your distribution ? - Can you provide a backtrace of the crash ? It doesn't crash here for me; using KDE SC 4.5.5 and Strigi 0.7.2. Regards
Hola Dairo I hope I got some helpful information that will help us to locate and solve the involved bug. - Strigi version / Distro? I got the crash with both strigi 0.7.1 and 0.7.2 on my gentoo box. Even a clean kubuntu 10.10 using strigi 0.7.2 crashes.
Created attachment 55837 [details] dolphin-20110110-232711.kcrash This is the crash dump I get after compiling dolphin and strigi with debug flags. Please let me know if I can help and provide other information as I have no experience at all in analyzing those dumps.
[Comment from a bug triager] Same backtrace as bug 251701 and bug 249876: it is a crash from the Strigi OLE analyzer. Dolphin has workarounded this bug for KDE SC 4.7.0 Regards *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 251701 ***
