Can this filetype be supported by marble?

My take on this:
Yes, technically this could get supported. But so far we haven't received many requests for inclusion of this format.So unless somebody has some higher interest to work on this it's not very high on our TODO list.
The best thing would be to submit a patch.

Looking at the website it looks to me like you can easily use gpsbabel for conversion. :-)

Available now in git master (to be Marble 1.8 / KDE 4.13) with File => Open.
