probably a dupe, but the history sounds weird (why would desktopgrid finish on logon??)

@shani
did you possibly run the desktopgrid effect by shortcut or active screen border/corner (and accident)

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 244813 ***
Comment 2 shani 2011-01-04 20:45:18 UTC
i use the desktop grid on screen edge / corner.

Comment 3 Thomas Lübking 2011-01-04 20:52:37 UTC
sth. must have caused it and usually nothing at logon should do so.
so either you moved your mouse to the active corner during longon and this is just a dupe of the other bug (fixed in 4.5.4) or the desktop grid was entered because of an invalid state (on init) or memory error (more severe thing)
Comment 4 shani 2011-01-04 21:54:23 UTC
