Version:           1.6.0 (using KDE 4.5.90) 
OS:                Linux

Akregator ist not freeing memory when closing tabs. In fact memory usage is increasing with every tab closed. At the moment it is using 1,15Gb of memory after I have closed all tabs.

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-11-generic-pae
Compiler: cc

Please provide a Valgrind/massif log.
