Description S. Burmeister 2011-01-04 10:41:14 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

When I click on the MX1000 Laser Mouse tab in the kcm everything is greyed out, i.e. not even the charging level is shown. A notification at the bottom claims this is due to missing rights.

However, if I use e.g. upower -d as a user I can see the charging state. Thus solid/the kcm should be able to get that data as well.

upower output:

Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/mouse_6_2
  native-path: /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb6/6-2

Thanks for the report. I've just tested on plasmasettings 5.20.2 and I cannot reproduce this issue as power information has moved to the power section in the tray.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
