Or tell me how it's done (for the next time)! If the line was already wrapped by the sending mail client then KMail of course can't recognize it as URL since it can't know if the next line belongs to the URL or not. Regards Michael Häckel

The khtml part always wraps lines. This can't be disabled AFAIK. > If the line was already wrapped by the sending mail client then > KMail of course can't recognize it as URL since it can't know if > the next line belongs to the URL or not. I guess the problem is that the URL is broken after a character which the khtml part interprets as the end of a word. IIRC this already happened in a message I received. But I'm not sure. Maybe jansorg@gmx.de can provide us with an example for a long URL which is broken into two or more parts because of wrapping. Anyway I'd say that this is a khtml bug and not a KMail bug. Hi! >=A0If the line was already wrapped by the sending mail client then >=A0KMail of course can't recognize it as URL since it can't know if >=A0the next line belongs to the URL or not. Maybe jansorg@gmx.de can provide us with an example for a long URL which is broken into two or more parts because of wrapping. Now I 'm not sure if it's a real bug. I'm absolutely sure I had wrapping URLS whi= ch=20 were not marked as URL in the new line. But I looked now into my archive and searched such an eMail. The URL was=20 wrapped by the eMail reader of the sender! If this is true for all messages= =20 this is not a KDE problem. Sorry for the bug report without verifying it first Joachim --=20 Joachim Ansorg BibleTime - www.bibletime.de - info@bibletime.de BibleTime is an easy to use Bible study tool for KDE / Linux.
