Description Dotan Cohen 2011-01-03 22:52:16 UTC
Version: 1.7.0 (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

When dragging on the metadata sidebars, such as the embedded Marble component, the Digikam window gets dragged to a new location. Please disable this! Thank you.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I'm really not sure if I should mark this as a bug or a RFE, as I do not know what the intended behaviour was, so to be safe I marked as RFE. But this is a huge annoyance.

I'd say that there is your widget style to blame. Oxygen (also Bespin and I belive QtCurve too) can move windows by dragging at any place. Please check your style settings and try to disable that feature and see if the problem persists. Thanks.

Thank you. I am using Plastique (always have) but I cannot reproduce the issue now (Kubuntu 11.10, KDE 4.7.2, Digikam 2.4). Closing.

Thanks.
