Description m.wege 2011-01-01 10:41:17 UTC
Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

Favourite folders are all shown that they are being loaded on startup of kmail. This takes quite some time and it does not seem to make sense for me, especially since the content of these folders is not to be shown at once. So the loading could wait until I open it like it happens with all the other folders.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-11-generic-pae
Compiler: cc

I confirm it.
Will look at it soon

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 3 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 21:29:39 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
