Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.90) OS: Linux I activated the collumn "attachment". Unfortunately it is pretty useless at the moment, because it shows every mail having an attachment. Reproducible: Always OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-11-generic-pae Compiler: cc
I can't reproduce. which theme ? which aggregation ? (settings / configure / appearance / message list) Post a screenshot please.
Hej, the attachment column does not show that all mails have an attachment... for the mails without the attachment the icon is disabled (grayed out), for the mails with attachments it is enabled (full color). Ciao, Tobias
Created attachment 55445 [details] aggregation settings and if that's not the case for you, double check that you didn't change the theme settings. See the attached screenshot.
Ok, in that case it is the other way around. No attachments are shown.
Created attachment 57181 [details] Screenshot of the problem Reproducible here with 4.5.94.1, akonadi-server 1.5.0 on Gentoo. I saw this with the classic theme and any kind of aggregation. This bug is probably a duplicate of 262387, as the description there seems a bit more accurate: this doesn't happen all the time and not with all the mails, but with most of them. See the attached screenshot for an example. The current mail clearly has an attachment, but it is not displayed in the list. It is displayed for the next message, which has an attachment as well.
Still reproducible with 4.6 Beta 5 ... Kind regards, Christian
Hej Christian, is it reproducible for new mails with attachments or only for old ones which had been downloaded with an older version of KMail2? The icon is available if a special flag has been set on the email and this is has not been done in older versions of KMail2/Akonadi. So please test if it works when downloading new mails with attachments. Ciao, Tobias
Dear Tobias, this also happens with new mails. The strange thing is that sometimes it works, especially on new incoming mails, but it is lost when restarting kmail. I refetched all the mails (I use disconnected IMAP) with a recent version of kmail2, and it still happens there. Tell me if I can provide you further information. Kind regards, Christian
