(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.2 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.0 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.0) OS: Linux 2.2.19-7.0.1 i686 OS/Compiler notes: It would be really nice to be able to modify the "subject" "from" and other message fields displayed in the mailbox listing (mainly the subject line). One is often sent e-mails with missing or meaningless subject lines and the ability to modify these using a right-click opperation would be most useful. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)

Workaround: Move the message to the drafts folder edit it save it to the drafts folder move it back to the folder where it belongs to. Disadvantage of this workaround: The date is reset to the date you edited the message. Anyway this wish is duplicate. Therefore I'm closing it.
