Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90) OS: Linux The rendering of the device notifier widget seems to be broken. When I plug a device, the widget is shown in the top left corner of the system and stays there forever. The symbol of the device notifier is not shown in the systray but there is a space where it should be. If I click that space, the widget is also rendered at the location where it should be, but has the top left corner of the display as background (see attached screenshot). This happens only for the device notifier widget, no other widget has that problem as it seems. Reproducible: Always Distribution: openSUSE 11.3 Kernel: 2.6.37-rc6-desktop (from Kernel:HEAD repository) Qt: 4.7.1 (from KDE:Distro:Factory repository) KDE: 4.5.90 (4.6 RC1) (from KDE:Distro:Factory repository) ATI Mobility X1400 graphics card (with radeon/ati open source drivers)
Ok, the image seemed to large to be attached. See here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1811717/device_notifier_fail.png
Very weird! @mart: any idea?

fixed in http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdelibs/plasma/popupapplet.cpp?r1=1207416&r2=1212674
cool. Thank you! Seems to be a nice and easy fix :) Will it be backported to the 4.6 series?
