What I was doing when the application crashed:

Trying to just read a particular unread message causes kmail to crash every time.  Therefore is not even possible to remove it, resend it or anything else.

I'm using the default installation of Kubuntu 10.10, 64 bits.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
