Description Axel Krebs 2010-12-25 11:31:15 UTC
Version: 1.7.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Since DIGIKAM 1.4, debugging does not work on my machine any more.

Version 1.7 <http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/557> from under KDE 5,4,1, works, but crashes a few times a day.

It is not possible to make a bug report, as I am asked to install the debug-files- but they are installed already.

How to report a bug, when bug-reporting is buggy?

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
Bug reporting _must_ work, when a new version is delivered. Otherwiese it´s like trying to fly without wings...

Was the same under V. 1.4, and, potentially, under 1.6

digiKam team cannot do something with debug symbol generated during compilation by your linux distro packager. We only provide source code tarball under linux.

Report this problem to your linux distro team...
