Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-12-23 18:39:11 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

When opening the add widgets strip you cannot immediately start typing to search for a widget, you need to click on the search bar in order to give it focus.
Automatically focus the bar on opening the widget bar.

Reproducible: Always

The same here.

Strange it wasn't fixed - it's very easy to. KDE 4.7 - the bug is still here.
When the widgets list appears keyboard cursor blinks, but the field has no focus.
Comment 3 David Hrachovy 2011-08-13 12:07:22 UTC
I think the report should be a bug, not a wish, because the cursor blinks. As a user I expect that I can start typing.
KDE 4.6.2
