Description Torbjörn K. 2010-12-21 14:29:48 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

Any time I want to start YaST in GUI mode, kdesu crashes. Unfortunately I cannot figure out, which debug-packages are missing for a complete backtrace.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Launch YaST via KDE-Menu or via [Alt]+[F2] -> YaST.

Application: kdesu (1.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) "release 8"
Qt Version: 4.6.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 11.3 (x86_64)"

 -- Backtrace:
Application: KDE-su (kdesu), signal: Segmentation fault

Does it still happen in recent version? As for debug symbols, you should ask OpenSUSE guys.
