Description Martin Lee 2010-12-20 11:06:08 UTC
Version: SVN (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

I have some mp3 files and it can't described a right character. It was hanggul ( Korean Font ) and i already installed a needed font before i buy this mp3 file. But still KDE can't recognize it.

KDE i success to display other Hanggul character but in some kind of situation it's failed to display and also don't give me any chance to rename it

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Downloads mp3 from market... sometimes it can display the korean font correctly and sometimes it's only displayed a black blocks etc.

I try to rename the character through dolphin and command line ( mv -f oldname newname )

Actual Results:
Dolphin - The file doesn't exist
Command Line - Can't find a file

Expected Results:
Even the character unrecognized, it should be able to rename it. It's a common things

example for unrecognized character
01 ۩٪ (Acoustic Version).mp3

the other files which is recognized by KDE
24 민명기 - 고요한 밤 거룩한 밤.mp3

( All is hanggul / korean font )

Which program did you use to download the files? The program should not create file names with invalid characters.
