Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: Linux Under the "Help" menu in KAddressBook the first item is "KAddressBook Handbook". This links to a file that does not exist. I looked on the KDE docs website and under Kontact components KAddressBook is listed (http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepim/kontact/components.html), however unlike all the other components there is no documentation listed (http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepim/). I did find a set of docs that are not really complete here (http://userbase.kde.org/KAddressBook). Perhaps until the docs are written these other ones can be put in their place. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open KAddressBook, select "KAddressBook Handbook" under the "Help" menu. Actual Results: Error - KDE Help Center "The file or folder help:/kaddressbook/index.html does not exist." Expected Results: Open the proper docs Distro: openSUSE 11.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-0.5-default Compiler: gcc KAddressBook version 4.4.5
I just installed a new machine with kubuntu 10.10 and KDE 4.5.4 and made sure that the docs package is instaled. This documentation is definitely not there.
This bug actually belongs to khelpcenter, or maybe docs.

I realize bug 260763 says this is resolved but it isn't for me. When I click on Help and then "KAddressBook Handbook" from the KAddressBook window I get a message from KDE Help Centre saying the documentation is not found. However I know that kdepim-doc is installed (in fact I even tried removing it and installing it again).
Yup, it is not actually fixed. The Kontact Handbook is there, but there is no KAddressBook Handbook to speak of. It is under construction AFAIK.
It looks like the link in question now points to some old web based docs for 4.4. It is not the optimal solution, but it fixes this bug.
