I think this should work since KDE 3.0 or 3.1, not sure.
Please notify me if it doesn't.

Hello,

I think I have to reopen this bug ... if I use kio_smb I keep having to enter my passwords all the time. With konq preloaded, it should at least remember SMB passwords across a login session, or until the screen is locked.

Maybe integrating kio_smb with kwallet is a good idea. I don't know.

Hi,

I commented this bug last year, has anything been done regarding kio_smb + kwallet integration? I like the "remote:/" protocol support in Konqueror and I have a large list of smb:/ bookmarks in there but using them is a major pain in the back since I keep having to re-enter my passwords for the Samba shares to be accessed.

Thanks!
