Description Philip Lykke Carlsen 2010-12-17 14:29:32 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Whenever I choose a plasma theme that contains elements of transparency, all I get is a black background on panels and popups.

I have tested using Air, Air for netbooks, Glaze and Glassified, all of which produce similar results

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just change plasma theme

Actual Results:
Only black or dark backgrounds appear

Expected Results:
Transparent textures

Desktop effects are enabled and work flawlessly, except for the Invert effect. As can be seen on the attached screenshots, transparency effects on windows works flawlessly too.

It would probably be useful for me to provide the name of my graphics hardware:

Intel 945GMA integrated, using X11 display driver i965.

lspci reports:
Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller

and kernel driver i915
