Description m.wege 2010-12-14 23:29:08 UTC
Version: 0.0.1 (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

When I have webkit as my standard rendering engine adblock does not work. If this can not be fixed by release of 4.6, webkit should not be the standard rendering engine. I had not choosen that, it seems to have happened automatically as a consequence of updating to Beta.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-7-generic-pae
Compiler: cc

Webkit is not konqueror's default rendering engine, dunno what ubuntu has done.

You need to report that to your distro. By default KHTML is still the default rendering engine and will be the case for the life time of the KDE 4.x series. As far as adblock support in kwebkitpart is concerned, see bug# 248137.
