Description Tim 2010-12-14 21:22:41 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Clicking on the category heading in the todo list does not sort in any logical way.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Make a list of todos
Open in todo list
click on category heading

Actual Results:
no logical or consistent category ordering

Expected Results:
This is what I would like to see happen:
When sorting todos by category (in the list view - in category column), I would like to see it sorted in the same way that it is sorted in the category manager.

There could be multiple ways to sort by category... you could implement more then one and provide an option to select the default in the setting... but to me, my above suggestion seems to be the most logical way (which at this point is not happening)

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
