Hello If i have understand right, when you are trying to read a mail which is unread then the unread column doesn't decrease. Right? If yes then i tried to reproduce it on opensuse 11.4 with the following kde environment. Qt: 4.7.1 KDE Development Platform: 4.6.41 (4.7 >= 20110106) KMail: 2.0.89 Please could you try to reproduce the bug in a newer version of kmail and check if the bug is still valid?
At the moment I can not test anymore. I have kind of given up on Kmail2 and reverted back to Kmail1. But the problem was: - New messages did not appear in the message list while using unread mode. - At the same time the counter of that folder in the folder list showed new mails - switching to another folder and back, then updated the content of the message list.
