Version: SVN trunk (using KDE 1.2) OS: Linux Whenever the layout of a web presence used to extract price information for shares or currencies is changed, the regular expressions to extract the information need to be adjusted. An idea is to use Get Hot New Stuff (GHNS) to exchange such information among the users automatically. See http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Introduction_to_Get_Hot_New_Stuff for more details on this technology. Reproducible: Didn't try

(In reply to Michael Carpino from comment #1) > Bug requested over 5 years ago with an older version of KMM. Bug closed. Why did you close it? It's still valid and I believe not an easy task. Probably that's why it remains open for so long. Please don't do that in future.
Skrooge already uses GHNS for the deployment of online sources (see https://www.opendesktop.org/browse/cat/339/).
If you look at the Skrooge Online Quote sources, which all don't work and haven't been maintained for a long time, the biggest problem is probably the effort required to follow the constant adjustments of the service providers. It would have to be examined whether there are more stable providers.
