sys-load is caused by kmail and akonadi.
-using kolab
-diconnected imap
-few hdd-space

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.4.6) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
previosly had 1.8 GB HDD left (was compleatly full after last kmail start); now cleaned up hard disked: free space before start of kmail (5.5GB) started kontakt (kmail): kmail started in about 10 minutes: free space: 5.1GB.
--> HardDisk is not the reason!
Now KMail seams to work, but does not fetch new mails!
--> So I tried rebuilding IMAP-Cache:
KMail did somthing (dont know what): status: "Uploading messages...." toggeled between 5 & 15 % but 'never' get finisched!
Finaly Kontact Crashed.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
*High load while opening Kontact! (laggy mouse).
*KMail did somthing (dont know what): status: "Uploading messages...." toggeled between 5 & 15 % but 'never' get finisched!
*Scrollbars in Kontact look usual, but on clicking them they become very small, but still have "collision" from the big ones.

sorry for adding files this strange way, but i could not find an option to attach files :(
Comment 4 bugs_kde 2010-12-13 23:12:21 UTC
ok - I'm happy again - the problem is solved

----------------------------

but i can't tell ya what the problem was

i can tell you, what i have done.

1 . reinstalled all kde packages
> problem remained
2. deleted ~/.kde
3.reconfigured
>problem remained
4.used kmail in another user-context (same settings)
>problem seemed resolved
>>but retured partially (fetching new mail failed after some time)
5. migrated to old user-context
>reinstalled all kde-packages
>deleted all mysql files
>installed all libstdc++ from distribution (previously using modified ones) !!!!!!!
>reinstalled mysql
>reconfigured
>the akonadi-error-report remains, but everything is working fine

--> kontact works fine again; no more load problem (!!!)

because of my buggy libstdc++ packages i think there is _NO_ bug in kmail / kontact. (expect the bug with full hard disk?)

Changed to "CLOSED" because of my stupidity (libstdc++) regarding to the title-topic "high-sys-load".
