Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.85) OS: Linux I have noticed that nepomuk-virtuoso-t seems to be part of the speed problem in Kmail2. When I deactivate Nepomuk Kmail becomes a little faster. Not really fast, but noticibly faster. The virtuoso-t process consumes between 45-50% of the CPU power on a relativly new Thinkpad X201. Even after turning Nepomuk of there is a process called Akonadi-Nepomuk consuming nearly 600MB of memory (out of 4GB). Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-7-generic-pae Compiler: cc
May be I need to add the fact that my IMAP-database is more than 2GB. This was not such a problem with Kmail1.
