Description Clemens Eisserer 2010-12-11 18:38:56 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Sometimes (about 10-20% of all startups, but more likely when I logout&re-login) I get a dialog stating:

"An error occured scanning your keyring"

No more details are given.

Any idea what the problem could be, and where to look for log-files to diagnose the problem further?

I am quite puzzled, because if the keyring would be corrupt, I guess I would get the message at every startup.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot System & login in to KDE
2. Most of the time KDE starts up normal
3. Logout
4. Re-Login into KDE; quite likely (~30%) I get the dialog mentioned above
