- Do you use the NVIDIA drivers ?
There is a report about several crashes on OpenSuse if using the NVidia official driver... bug 251719.

Then, that driver is the culprit of the crashes. Merging with bug 251719.
Try to install a different version of the driver, a different driver, or asking for some help in the OpenSuse community.
