Version:           2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.85) 
OS:                Linux

'View Source', from View menu or 'V' shortcut, doesn't work in the main window (nothing happens).  It works from the message window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a message on the message list.
2. Either press 'V' or select View->View Source. Nothing happens.
3. Open the message and repeat step 2 in the message window. Message source window opens as expected.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happened.

Expected Results:  
Message source window should open.

works fine here with current trunk version... Is the 'View Source' action in the View menu disabled for you when selecting a message?

Sorry for the (embarrasingly long) delay...
This is still present in KMail 2.0.95 on KDE 4.6.2.  Exactly as before.

When I turn on the message preview pane, viewing the message source works.  It stops working when I turn off the preview again.

The 'View Source' menu action (now under Message->View Source) is no longer present in the main window when the preview pane is disabled, so this bug is no longer relevant.
