Description Christian (Fuchs) 2010-12-09 18:33:30 UTC
Version: 2.0 beta1 (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

When trying to write a new mail via kmail --composer (e.g. in a mailto:/ link) a warning is displayed, telling the user that kmail/kontact is already running.

The behaviour until now was that this indeed happens when you try to start kmail twice, but not when you just want to compsoe a new mail with the --composer method.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Have kmail open in the background, try to write a new mail with kmail --composer

Actual Results:
warning is displayed

Expected Results:
user is able to write a new mail

Same issue here.

If Kontact is open and a mailto link is clicked on elsewhere (Firefox, ksnapshot, etc) a warning dialog opens, telling the user that kmail/kontact is already running.
